Welcome to the Alberta Family Mediation Society

Alberta Family Mediation Society (AFMS) advocates resolution of family conflict through the use of mediation by qualified professionals

In some cases families qualify for free family mediation through the province/AB Courts.  To see if you qualify, click here:  Family Mediation | Alberta.ca

If you don’t qualify for free family mediation through the province, then you need to hire your own family mediator. Use the Find A Mediator link above to view our list of qualified mediators and start contacting them directly.

Our mediator members work independently in their own practices, and they charge for their services. Please contact them directly to ask about their fees, schedule and your situation.
